What is Accutane?

Accutane is a medication used to treat nodular acne, a severe type of acne that is unhealed by other treatments. According to the Accutane Medication Guide, nodular acne consists of multiple red, swollen, tender lumps formed in the skin. Nodular acne can create permanent scars when untreated.

Accutane FDA Alerts
